Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Targeted Youth Support Case Support Worker for a Local Authority Client based in East London.
In this role, you will support NEET care leavers by conducting needs assessments, developing pathway plans, and providing guidance to help them access education, training, and employment opportunities.
About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
* Manage a caseload of NEET care leavers, conducting needs assessments and developing pathway plans.
* Work closely with the EET Coordinator and Personal Advisors to plan and achieve viable EET pathways.
* Provide information, advice, and guidance to help young people access education, training, and employment opportunities.
* Support young people with application processes for college, university, jobs, grants, bursaries, and scholarships.
* Participate in reviews, case conferences, and other meetings, providing follow-up support.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
* Experience conducting needs assessments and developing individualised pathway plans for young people.
* Experience assisting with application processes for college, university, jobs, grants, bursaries, and scholarships.
* Experience participating in reviews, case conferences, and other professional meetings.
* Experience working directly with NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) young people to support their progression.
What’s on offer:
Salary: £23+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week
