SF Recruitment are working with a superb business in Leicester, LE19 in their search for a Management Accountant to join the business on a full time basis. The position reports directly into the Finance Director & will be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of all financial and management information. Our client will consider Qualified, Part Qualified or QBE Accountants but are looking for people with experience within a similar position.

Duties of the Management Accountant:
- Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
- Complete monthly management commentary highlighting variances from budget/forecast and last year.
- Review profit & loss and balance sheet each month to ensure accuracy of information.
- Support the month end closing process and complete reconciliation of accounts as required.
- Preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts on an ongoing basis.
- Liaising with senior managers to work on detailed income budgets and forecasts.
- Calculate budget project costs for each income line budgeted
- Liaise with auditors on project claims where necessary
- Raise partner claims/ invoices
- Project Reporting
- Manage the monthly project reporting process
- Financial reporting back to funder on key projects
- Monthly meetings with project managers on key projects
- Working alongside project managers to control costs within budget.
- Contribute to the continued development of internal procedures and manuals.
