This team-oriented position will see you joining our Water Supply Team, ensuring that the Water Supply process delivers treated water by carrying out vital routine operations.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operational running of water supply sites. You are expected to become a custodian of these operational assets and take real ownership and pride in driving their performance and operability. You will be operating machinery, monitoring processes and problem solving across several sites which means this is a diverse role which offers plenty of challenge and variety. You will also be maintaining brilliant water quality compliance, outstanding health and safety culture and adhering to company policies.
We’ll provide full and on-going training to help you gain a detailed understanding of the water treatment process. You will train alongside an experienced technician to ensure you gain all the skills and knowledge required, whilst also being involved in a rota for standby to support out of hours where required.
What does it take to be a Water Process Technician?
* Are you a problem solver and are you willing to learn about water production processes?
* Ability to work within a process driven industry.
* You’ll need a flexible approach to working hours as you would be required to take part in a standby rota.
* Excellent communication, accountability and prioritisation skills.
* You will benefit from access to a company vehicle, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
* There is a requirement to obtain your Water Licence to Operate (LTO) qualification which you will receive full support to achieve.
