Job Description:
Our client is a global, FTSE 250, and profitable business, based in Leicester, seeking a Graduate Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.
As Graduate Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
* Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for various balance sheet codes
* Preparing and posting journal entries
* Owning a number of balance sheet codes such as prepayments and accruals
* Supporting the fixed assets team with a number of accounting tasks
* Setting up of new vendor accounts
* Various treasury tasks, including the set-up of payments and monitoring of daily cash balances
* Liaising with internal and external auditors as required
The successful Graduate Accounts Assistant will have the following qualifications and experience:
* Degree in Accounting & Finance
* Excellent IT Skills
* Clear communication skills both written and verbal
* Desire to work in Accounting and study for an accounting qualification (CIMA or ACCA)
As Graduate Accounts Assistant, you will be entitled to the following:
