Job Description:
Are you looking for part-time work, school hours or a 9-5 administration job in Taunton? Keen to work in a smaller team of three in a friendly office? 
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is hiring on behalf of their client for a Finance Administrator to work in Taunton, Somerset! The role is office-based, near the town centre. You’ll join a small friendly team with progression opportunities. 
The Finance Assistant’s responsibilities will vary depending on the daily needs of the business and team. You will work closely with all other members of the finance team, assisting them all individually where needed.
The working hours are full or part-time. Full time 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday OR Part Time 9.00am-3.00pm or similar school hours. The annual salary is £25,000 PA with an outstanding benefits package! 
Key Responsibilities: 
* Managing correspondence and communication into the team by post and Emails – Monitor / Reply and Distribute where necessary.
* Carry out administrative duties, including answering telephone and preparing internal and external documents/communication, remittances, client statements and sending out client invoices. 
* Requests for contractor documentation and information.
* Inputting and managing data in spreadsheets and reports: Contract scheduling, live contract list and forecasting.
* Keep CRM records up to date using QuickBooks (full training provided on this). 
* Producing estimates/quotes for Operations Team.
* Monitoring status of Purchase Orders alongside the Operations Team and updating relevant finance processes (A/P or A/R) where necessary (training provided on this). 
* Basic holiday cover of other team members.
Experience, attributes & skills sought: 
* Good working knowledge of various computer software and applications: Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe. Good communication skills.
* Knowledge/experience of business administration.
* Basic knowledge of Finance/Accounts terminology/transactions – Desirable.
