Our client, an award-winning international commercial law firm, is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join their Health Litigation team in Liverpool or fully remote. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Solicitor with defendant clinical negligence experience to advance their career within a supportive and inclusive environment.
Position Overview The successful candidate will manage a caseload of clinical negligence files for NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts and other defendant clients, contributing to the success of the Health Litigation team and the wider organisation.
Responsibilities * Manage clinical negligence files, including drafting reports and statements

* Instruct experts and counsel, and attend court hearings

* Negotiate settlements and prepare for trials and mediations

* Build and maintain client and internal relationships

* Contribute to business development by seeking new opportunities

Requirements * Qualified Solicitor with defendant clinical negligence experience

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Understanding of clients’ needs, expectations and protocols

* Proactive and pragmatic approach with focus on quality

* Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
