L&D and HR Administrator; Burnley;2-3 Month Contract; 37 hours per week; £16.00ph; Inside IR35
We currently have an opportunity for an experience administrator, who has ideally worked within the HR or Learning and Development sectors. The role is based completely on site
The role will encompass the following
Learning & Development
Co-ordinate and administer learning and development activity on site and be a key user of the learning management system. Working with internal and external stakeholders from across the business to ensure learning and development interventions are delivered on time and to budget.
Human Resources
Supporting in the HR team with recruitment processes such as on-boarding activities, drafting contracts, responding to the shared inbox, recording sickness absence and organising occupational health appointments.
Main activities of the role include
A first point of contact for learning & development enquiries - managing central training email inbox
Support the Skills Development Business Partner in the delivery of the sites training requirements
Utilise the (LMS) Learning Management System to administer the day-to-day processes and procedures, including logistics
Ensure LMS & TMS administration is completed, with records fully updated
Ensure training options are live and available within the LMS system
Support L & D reporting requirements
Ensure all training planned for the calendar year is completed and proactively foreseeing issues or delays and raising these with the SDBP.
Acting as the main contact between company University and site, whilst providing support for employees
Supporting with the Talent Management process
SAP Key User for Training budgets, recording and tracking spend
VIE & Intern Recruitment Process
Active member of the Learning & Development Team collaborating with the UK network for best practice Improvements
Budget administration – budget tracker, raising purchase orders, liaison with Finance
Support Apprentice recruitment process
Responsible for Site training facilities (both internal & external), co-ordinating any logistical/administration requirements for training
Undertaking HR administration that supports the on-boarding process such as undertaking pre-employment checks and issuing contracts and ensuring everything has been returned before the individual starts work.
Overseeing the HR inbox and responding to queries.
Recording sickness absence
Arranging occupational health appointments
Skills and Experience required
Attained CIPD Level 3 (Preferable)
Experience of working with a multitude of stakeholders at various levels
Understanding of HR and L & D processes
Proficient with Microsoft Package, Teams, Share-point and in-house HR / L&D IT systems is essential,
Power BI knowledge would be a bonus but not essential.
