Job Description:
Assistant Accountant
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 pa
Location: London (Hybrid)
Finitas are working with this leading private equity firm focused on Central and Eastern Europe, investing in growth-oriented companies across various sectors.
Requirements:
* Part qualified Accountant.
* Advanced skills in Sage and Excel.
Responsibilities:
* Approve and pay weekly invoices
* Assist in monthly management accounts, including bank reconciliation, prepayments, and accruals
* Review costs against budget and subsidiary management accounts
* Manage monthly payroll and pension submissions
* Support cash management, projections, and employee expenses
* Complete VAT returns and assist with annual budget, reforecast, and board packs
* Support external auditors for year-end statutory accounts
As per the above, this role will be up to 3 days onsite.
