Job Description:
Grafton Banks Finance is pleased to support a client based in Hemel Hempstead in their search for an Accounts Payable Assistant. This position is for an initial 4-month temporary period, with the potential for extension and a permanent role. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager to assist with a variety of accounts payable duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with an ongoing invoicing/AP project.
* Processing a high volume of invoices, including matching and coding.
* Performing supplier statement reconciliations.
* Handling direct debit reconciliations.
* Providing ad hoc assistance with month-end duties, such as balance sheet reconciliations.
Candidate Requirements:
* Immediate availability to start in August.
* Ability to commute to Hemel Hempstead offices 3-4 days per week.
* Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger Assistant role.
* Strong Excel skills and experience with various accounting systems (preferred but not essential).
This role offers hybrid working arrangements following a brief training period.
