I am actively seeking a skilled Structural CAD Technician to join a busy, successful Multidisciplinary Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Rutland. As a Structural CAD Technician, you will assist in managing one of their busiest structural teams where you will have opportunity to play an important role in modelling and detailing of projects across commercial, residential and industrial sectors.
It is essential for the Structural CAD Technician to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:
* A minimum or 3 years’ experience within a consultancy-based role
* Bachelor’s, masters or HNC in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Knowledge of technical software with AutoCAD or an equivalent design software
* Experience working with Steel, Timber, Concrete and Masonry
Duties and responsibilities for this Structural CAD Technician include:
* Carry out concrete and steel layout drawings
* Modelling and detailing of a wide range of building structures projects
* Aid the development of junior team members
* Communicate with engineers to ensure accurate drawings
