Cedar are recruiting a Stakeholder Manager for a national business that is in a high growth phase. This is a permanent role based in London or Oxford and is available due to an internal promotion.
The duties/responsibilities of the role are: -
* To build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to support delivery of the individual stakeholders’ priorities and thereby enable the realisation of the company’s business objectives.
* Deliver company Stakeholder strategy, developing and enhancing external relationships with political, business, tourism and community organisations.
* Strategically communicate the business objectives and modernisation plans to stakeholders, seeking to build political and community support for investment in the organisation.
* Identify opportunities and funding streams then work to secure third party investment to support the business’ modernisation and growth agenda.
* Use relationships and policy knowledge of stakeholders to generate opportunities, revenue and funding leads, working collaboratively with the Commercial team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proven track record of building and managing relationships with a range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will also have strong analytical skills which are necessary to make key decisions. They will have the ability to build rapport with the leadership team and influence when required. The candidate will also need to be dynamic in their thought process and be both proactive and reactive in a range of situations.
