Are you ready to take the reins and make a financial impact? Look no further! Our client, a successful and inclusive organisation operating from Leeds, is seeking a motivated Finance Controller to join their team.
As the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for managing all finance operations, working closely with the Senior Management Team to support decision making. Your key duties will include:
* Producing timely management information using Sage, Auto Entry and Excel software.
* Preparing monthly management accounts and reviewing against previous months.
* Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations and month-end transactions.
* Supporting 2 processing staff in purchase and sales ledger functions.
* Preparing quarterly VAT returns.
* Maintaining accuracy for production costings and stock management.
* Collaborating with department heads and the Retail Finance team.
To excel in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should also possess strong computer proficiency and be confident working with Microsoft Word and Excel. With great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment.
