Job Description:
Purpose of the Role
To support the Senior Property Manager in the day to day management of the building.
This would suit a person who is looking to further develop their career in property management and is looking to take on more responsibility.
The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail with good organisational skills and enjoys a process driven environment. They should have the ability to form good working relationships with people at all levels, be able to problem solve, collaborate with others and be self motivated, with the aim of delivering excellent customer service to the high expectations of the client and occupiers.
Key Responsibilities
* Engagement with occupiers – day to day communications and attendance at occupier meetings Presenting at quarterly group occupier meetings.
* Managing service contracts – working closely with contract managers to ensure the agreed standard of service is maintained. Chairing monthly KPI meetings and keeping accurate meeting minutes. Working in collaboration with service partners to develop service strategies to promote initiatives and service enhancements.
* Liaising with suppliers and contractors – obtaining quotes and raising orders. Ensuring a safe system of working is maintaining.
* Liaising with the client – attending and taking an active part in quarterly client meetings.
* Reporting – assist with quarterly client report and presentations. Reporting on occupancy levels.
* Building fabric - assisting with reactive fabric and remedial works.
* Building enlivenment - collaborating on the building enlivement strategy and annual events programme. Liaising with the onsite food & beverage provider.
* Insurance claims – liaising with all parties to manage claims to completion.
* Compliance – monitoring and completing tasks on compliance apps such as Datastation and SEMs.
* Health & safety – ensuring health & safety is maintained throughout the building. Undertake role in building evacuation procedure. Manage access equipment such as BMUs. Auditing of logbooks.
* Building services – manage the Building App, phone lines and audio visual equipment.
* Budgets – assist with budget planning and expenditure tracking.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* Commercial property management experience.
* Experience in using Savills apps eg. permit to work system, SEMs, Datastation, Occupier+.
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely through good written and verbal skills.
* Understanding of IT & comms systems an advantage.
Working Hours - 09:00 – 17:30
Salary - £55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
