Job Title: Group Management Accountant
Location: Rotherham, S66
Annual Salary: Up to £45k (DOE)
Working Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Hybrid working option available)
The company offers diverse business outsourcing services, including accounting, document management, payment processing, and IT outsourcing, across sectors like financial services, public sector, telecommunications, and non-profits.
Purpose of the Group Management Accountant
The Group Management Accountant is responsible for overseeing the monthly management accounts and budgeting processes, supporting client billings, and providing insightful analysis to aid in profitability, commercial, and spending decisions.
Additionally, this role is crucial in integrating the Security Print accounting processes in Hinckley and transitioning them onto SAGE accounting software.
Key Duties:
* Monthly Management Accounts delivered by 5-7 working days to departmental level
* Accurate ’flash’ reporting mid-month
* Management of budgets and regular re-forecasting exercises
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Revenue & Profitability analysis & Ad hoc projects
* To assist with the year-end audit process
* Provide leadership and support to 2 direct reports: Trainee Management Accountant & Purchase Ledger Assistant
Requirements:
* Experience with SAGE is a plus
* Proficiency in Excel and Word is essential
* Must have a passport allowing unrestricted travel within Europe
* Part-qualified ACA, CIMA, or ACCA candidates are encouraged to apply
