Job Description:
Lift Repairs Engineer - Glasgow and surrounding areas
ORONA’s activities are focused on the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernization of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways. Operating in 100 countries , we have 250,000 lifts worldwide using our technology. With 2 manufacturing plants Orona is Number 1 in Europe in terms of complete lift production capacity.
We are looking for a Lift Repairs Engineer to join our Service team in Glasgow and surrounding areas. As an experienced Lift Repairs Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Carrying out minor and major repairs to lifts
* Planning jobs to ensure that parts are available and repairs are completed safely, on time and within budget
* Supervising and developing a Repairs Mate
* Delivering accurate and timely paperwork, managing your time on site, liaising regularly with the office based team to ensure repair parts are available as required
* Building excellent customer relationships, providing updates to clients as required and providing feedback on progress as required.
If you have a comprehensive Lift engineering background, including an NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent - we want to hear from you!
To qualify for this vacancy we would expect you to have:
* NVQ3 in Lift Engineering
* Experience of working with Lifts
* Strong customer skills
* A valid UK Driving License
* Excellent health and safety knowledge is essential for this role
