Cedar have partnered with an established and highly successful property investment business who are looking to hire an ambitious PQ Accountant experience to join their thriving team.
This role offers a excellent opportunity for a driven PQ Accountant to make significant headway in their career gaining exposure to a wide array of duties. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Financial Controller and assist with preparing of year end accounts files to trial balance, the preparation of monthly management accounts, and assisting with the treasury function.

Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing of year end accounts files to trial Balance level. Preparation of profit and loss account and balance sheet.
* Book-keeping and quarterly preparation of VAT Returns.
* Assisting in treasury function. Maintaining cash balances and executing transfers and payments.
* Preparation and assisting in preparation of management accounts / cash flows and reports to banks.
* Ad-hoc management reporting and data analysis.
Requirements:
* Part Qualified / AAT / Qualified by experience.
* Experience of working in practice (highly desirable).
* Experience of preparing accounts files.
* Basic understanding of tax sensitive issues in accounts (desirable).
* Working knowledge of VAT.
* Computer literacy, with the ability to adapt to new accounting packages.
* Solid understanding of double entry.
* Knowledge of partial exemption.
* Basic understanding of tax sensitive items in accounts.
