Senior Control, Modelling and Simulation Engineer

SR2 is recruiting for an aviation company, who are looking for a Senior Control, Modelling and Simulation Engineer to join them. This company works on the highest spec of innovative engineering; they are paving the way in their field and are currently experiencing exponential growth.
This role will involve developing Control Algorithms for UAS platforms and oversee multi-disciplinary modelling and simulation activities. This may include aircraft performance analyses, air vehicle design support, control algorithms tuning and model validation through analysis of experimental flight test data.
Due to continual growth, the company is continuing to expand and will be bringing on over fifty new employees. This is an exciting time to join as the company grows.
Desired Experience:
* 5 or more years of experience in aerospace, automotive or other industrial sectors.
* Knowledge of UAVs and common flight control systems
* Experience with common flight simulation and visualisation packages
* Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow
* CFD · CAD
* Python, C/C++
* HIL/SIL, Simulators
* DO-331, DO-178C

* £60,000
