Reporting to the Head of Repairs you will manage and be responsible for the effective delivery of repairs, maintenance and empty homes across a defined geographical area. You will ensure the in-house repairs and maintenance team, together with sub-contractor partners, deliver a customer first approach meeting our legal and regulatory requirements with high levels of colleague engagement.
Working as a team the Repairs Leads will be responsible for developing and embedding a high-performance culture and ensuring a high-quality service across repairs, maintenance and empty homes.
What we’re looking for:
* HNC level in a construction related discipline or equivalent through training / experience

* Holds the IOSH Managing Safely Certificate (or equivalent), or will work towards

* Experience of managing and leading a property maintenance service and a proven manager with both strategic and operational experience including people, contractors and projects

* The ability to lead, manage, motivate and influence a diverse and mobile workforce by example and promoting a high performing one-team approach

* Experience of working in a customer focused environment, with a proven ability of delivering a high standard of customer service and care

* Ability to set and manage complex budgets

* Proven track record of successful partnership working with both internal and external stakeholders
