Job Description:
Our client, an international Freight Forwarder is seeking an Internal Sales Executive - Freight Forwarding to join their team in Chelmsford area.

Responsibilities:
* Follow up on in-bound leads with an aim to convert these into new booked business.
* Build and maintain client relationship.
* Responsible for ad-hoc enquiries which can involve some freight enquiries.
* Dealing with both existing clients and prospects
* Working closely with sales department to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Following through sales leads and negotiating with overseas agents and suppliers
Requirements:
* Experience working within the Freight Forwarding industry
* Shipping experience
* Experience selling services to importers
* Experience handling cold calls
* Capable of calculating costs and quotes
* Knowledge of Multi freight system
* Good customer service and sales skills
* Ability to work in a team but also be self-sufficient.
