Robert Half is seeking a Data Governance Lead for a global consulting firm. The Data Governance Lead will play a crucial role in driving a data governance initiative to address audit findings and prepare for upcoming reviews. The role involves leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive data governance framework, including defining roles, responsibilities, and policies. This position also requires customising deliverables to meet the client’s specific needs and addressing gaps in current practices and technology.
Associate Assignment details:
* Location: City of London (Hybrid 1-2 days on site)
* Contract Duration: Initial 3 Months
* Daily Rate: £550-600 p/day via an FCSA approved umbrella
Experience Required:
* Proven experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks within the financial services sector.
* Framework Development: Demonstrated ability to define and implement data governance structures, including roles, responsibilities, and terms of reference.
* Gap Analysis: Experience in identifying and addressing gaps in data governance practices, business policies, and technology.
* Roadmap Creation: Track record of developing roadmaps for data initiatives covering people, processes, technology, and data.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Strong skills in engaging with stakeholders to embed data governance effectively within business operations.
* Transformation and Literacy: Ability to facilitate the transformation of data handling processes and enhance data literacy and ownership within teams.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with experience in managing expectations and addressing challenges with senior stakeholders.
It would be highly desirable if you have experience in investment banking or familiarity with DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act).
