Seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong development background for a 6-9 month contract (Inside IR35) in the fintech/banking sector.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead AWS infrastructure migration using Kubernetes, ECS, and "lift and shift" strategies
* Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
* Optimize and maintain cloud-native applications in a fintech environment

Required Skills
* Extensive experience with AWS services, particularly ECS, EKS, and related technologies
* Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration
* Strong background in software development
* Expertise in Terraform and infrastructure as code practices
* In-depth understanding of fintech/banking sector requirements and regulations
* Hands-on experience with PCI-DSS compliance in cloud environments
* Implemented secure, scalable payment processing systems using AWS services
* Designed high-availability architectures for real-time trading platforms
* Optimized performance for high-frequency transaction processing systems
* Familiar with regulatory requirements specific to financial services (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II)
Contract Details
* Duration: 6-9 months

* Location: Fully Remote
* Day Rate: £450-£550 per day
