Job Description:
Our client is an international Aerospace business, based in Derby, seeking a permanent Assistant Accountant on a permanent, full-time basis.
As Assistant Accountant, based in Derby, you will be responsible for:
* Supporting the Management Accountant in the preparation of monthly management accounts, cash management, and external reporting for the UK and German entity
* Providing support to my clients’ Shared Service Centre teams overseas, helping to resolve complex queries
* Assisting the Management Accountant with month end tasks, supporting with cash management and have management of the fixed asset register
* Bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and dealing with intercompany recharges
The successful Assistant Accountant will have the following experience:
* Intermediate Excel Skills
* 2 years experience in a Finance Assistant/Accounts Clerk/Accounts Administrator role
* Strong analytical ability
As Assistant Accountant, you will be entitled to the following:
* £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
* Permanent, full-time role
* 1 - 2 days per week in the office (Derby)
* Study Support
* 25 days annual leave plus ban holidays, ability to buy an additional 5 days
