Job Description:
Ryder Reid Legal is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join one of our prestigious, international law firm clients on an eight month fixed term contract at their London office on a hybrid working basis. Reporting to the Senior Manager for Europe & the Middle East, this role is pivotal in driving the firm’s client-centric business development strategies, with a primary focus on the UK market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development and execution of business development plans aligned with the firm’s strategies.
* Collaborate with lawyers and staff across various departments including Marketing & Communications, Events, Finance, and Practice Groups.
* Support the London office and global teams in building and maintaining client relationships.
* Prepare pitch and credential documents, track proposals, and report on business development activities.
* Coordinate with the Director of Business Development Systems to manage experience data.
* Promote significant client wins and initiatives within the London office.
* Participate in industry-related activities and support the Client Alliance Program (CAP).
Qualifications:
* University degree in a related field; an advanced degree is highly preferred.
* Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a law firm or professional services firm.
* Strong understanding of the UK legal market.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
* Team player with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
