Setting out Engineer
Based in Kingsbury, Warwickshire
3 month rolling contract (possibility of extension)
£300 – £350 per day 
We have a fantastic opportunity with a Tier 1 client working on a long-term project. The client is requiring a Site/Setting Out Engineer on the HS2 project, the company is a market leader and involved with major projects across the United Kingdom. This will be a great opportunity to gain experience with a Tier 1 contractor and develop yourself further.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ensure all permits ready for site work to commence
* Ensure the Inspection and Test Plans, and Quality Check Sheets are completed as soon as the checks can be completed
* Setting out and surveying
* Managing subcontractors
* Manage distribution of information
* Write and approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the works
* Liaising with the client and other key stakeholders
* Checking design drawings and reporting any issues or inconsistencies
* Liaise with other Sections to ensure a smooth flow of work.
* Regularly review procedures to ensure they are as efficient as possible.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Worked on heavy civil projects
* RC frame / structures project experience beneficial
* Previously worked in Engineer positions
* Line and level survey experience
* Previous Tier 1 or sub contractor experience
* CSCS Card
* Confident at setting out on site and producing QA reports, completing engineering documentation
* Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or equal experience
