Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: B37, Birmingham
Salary: Up to £55k (DOE)
Working Hours/Days: 40hrs Wednesday to Sunday
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, your main responsibility will be to maintain all machinery and equipment related to the Corrugator. You will support operations by optimising and improving technical processes, ensuring high maintenance standards, and collaborating on improvement projects.
Main Duties and responsibilities of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
* Manage spare parts for the Corrugator.
* Perform weekly preventative maintenance on the Corrugator.
* Schedule Corrugator engineering and maintenance work with the Engineering Manager.
* Conduct monthly stock-takes of spare parts.
* Mechanical Maintenance Engineer must react to breakdowns or issues with the Corrugator.
* Assist with broader engineering tasks and support the engineering team as needed.
* Follow Company Health and Safety rules to ensure all activities are performed safely.
Key requirements of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
* Multi-skilled with a focus on mechanical.
* Proven experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
* Experience working with steam lines and boilers (BOAS).
* BOAS training preferred, but not essential.
* Mechanical Maintenance Engineer must have the ability to perform mechanical fault finding, and electrical if needed.
* Previous experience with Corrugator maintenance preferred, but not essential.
