Job Description:
ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT - £18 - £21 PER HOUR - ASAP START DATE - OXFORD - HYBRID
Robert Half are thrilled to be working with a business in Oxford that are looking for a full-time Assistant Accountant to join the team ASAP, offering hybrid working!
Responsibilities:
* Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
* Support the preparation and submission of tax returns and other compliance documents.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
* Support month-end and year-end close processes.
* Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors.
* Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.
Requirements:
* AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
* Experience working in a similar role.
