A Wholesale Controller opportunity with a £100m+ food distributor looking to double their trade within the national & regional wholesalers through strategic and operationally delivery.

Description
Working as part of a wider commercial team and reporting to the commercial director, this role will be responsible for development and delivery of strategy and sales targets in the key food service and wholesale accounts.
You will require unlocking and delivering sales opportunities across wholesale customers. New business delivery is key to this role as well as the successful management and growth of existing customers.
You’ll identify, assess and drive new product development through the business, to achieve the aims of customer.
* Managing and developing the customer portfolio
* Identification and delivery of new business
* Full ownership of the P&L
* Sales reporting both internally and externally
* Development of business plans with key customers
Profile
* Extensive experience of the wholesale & distributor channel
* Track record of success in the sales channel with clear evidence of new business delivery
* Able to build strong internal and customer relationship, and demonstrate business wins from these
* Highly proficient at building and executing channel & customer plans
* Demonstrable at scaling up the wholesale / foodservice channel for retail orientated food companies
