Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated Primary teacher to join our dynamic team, located in the vibrant community of South Yorkshire. As a Primary teacher, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality education and care to children aged 5-11, fostering their intellectual, emotional, and social growth.This is a full-time day-to-day position commencing in September 2024, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of primary school children across various subjects.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, respected, and encouraged to succeed.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technology to enhance learning experiences and promote student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching practices and curriculum initiatives.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback to students, parents, and colleagues to support continuous improvement.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community, promoting effective communication and partnership in education.
- Uphold high standards of behavior management and safeguarding, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching primary school children, preferably in a similar setting.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
