Job Description:
Catering Supervisor * Job Type: Permanent
* Hours: 32.50 hours per week, term time only
* Location: Near Birmingham city centre
* Salary: £22,737 - £24,702 pa FTE (actual annual salary £17,486 - £18,997) – equivalent to £11.79 - £12.80 per hour, dependent on experience
* Required: As soon as possible
We are excited to offer the role of Catering Supervisor to join a friendly and dedicated catering team. This position is ideal for someone who has a genuine passion for the catering industry and is looking to step into a leadership role within a professional kitchen setting.
About the Role:
* Assist the Chef Manager with the preparation, cooking, and creation of suitable menus.
* Train and lead the team to prepare and serve healthy and appetising meals.
* Ensure the efficient and smooth running of kitchen operations.
* Uphold high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times.
* Engage in menu planning and the development of new dishes.

* A strong passion for delivering top-quality catering services.
* A commitment to the safety and well-being of students.
* High motivation and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
* The ability to effectively inspire, motivate, and lead a team.
* Emotional intelligence and the capability to establish strong relationships with various stakeholders.
* A relevant qualification in catering or hospitality is desirable.
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting, is advantageous.
