Job Description:
HGV DRIVER - CLASS 2 - HIAB REQUIRED
We are currently seeking a dedicated HGV Driver to join our clients team in the construction industry.
£32k - £38k
As a HGV Driver you will:
- Safely transport steel materials to and from job sites
- Operate a Class 2 flatbed truck with Hiab to deliver materials
- Secure loads using straps, chains, or other appropriate methods
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
- Using tools/power tools, bolt and erect steel components.
- operating long reach Hiabs for the safe installation of steel components and other contracted lifts.
- Salaried monthly pay after 12 week temp to perm (£32k - £38k)
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a commercial driving role
- Familiarity with operating a flatbed truck is highly desired
As a HGV Driver you will be paid: £15.39/h to £18.27/h depending on experience
As a HGV Driver your working hours will be: 40 hours per week MON-FRI 8-5 - Regularly required to start at 7am to get a head start loading lorry but always paid accordingly
