Urgently seeking a Software Engineer,
Initial 3 Month contract and the position will require wekely visits to site in London.
Software Engineer is responsible for the delivery and support of software, which may include new development, configuration and installation of third party packages, and software integration efforts. It may include tasks from every part of the software development lifecycle, including software and UI design, development, programming, and software deployment (both the installation and decommissioning of software). It may include the support of the solution which has been developed by the team.
The job revolves around a commodities trading platform, as such experience in this field is highly desired.
* Technical Skills:
* C#
* .Net Framework or Core
* SQL Server or Oracle
* Internet Information services (IIS)
* Web services (ASP.NET) / windows services
* Understanding of GIT source control concepts
* Exposure to Asynchronous Messaging, ideally MQ or similar
Desirable:
* Azure DevOps for branching and Source Control, build and deployment
* PowerShell
* Python
Unique Skills & Requirements of the Posting
* Experience in developing solutions for trading platforms
* Understanding of Trade Lifecycle and pricing concepts
* Understanding of Crude and Commodities trading useful
