We are currently recruiting for one of our trusted clients who are looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant. This is your chance to join a rapidly scaling accountancy practice.
What You Can Expect
* Location - Fully remote (must be based in the UK)
* Salary - £25,000 - £30,000
* Industry - Finance and Accounting
* Work Type - Permanent
Key Responsibilities as a Semi-Senior Accountant
* Preparing and delivering statutory accounts.
* Composing corporation and personal tax returns,
* Working closely with a senior accountant to support a portfolio of SME clients.
* Managing inbound client queries with a focus on exceptional service delivery.
* Reviewing and actioning client records.
* Working towards taking on a portfolio of clients.
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members when required.
Core Experience and Skills
* Minimum of 2 year’s experience as an accountant.
* Experience working in an accounting firm or similar environment.
* Experience using Xero or FreeAgent would be desirable.
* A background working in a smaller business would be advantageous.
* Studying or working towards AAT/ACCA Qualification.
* Self-motivated individual with career aspirations.
