Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our market leading manufacturing client with their search for a Manufacturing Engineer.
This role would be well suited to someone with around 1 years industry experience or a recent graduate.
Overall Purpose:
* The Manufacturing Engineer will report directly to the Engineering Manager and will work with all aspects of new product and process development and existing process improvement.
Key Duties:
* Contributing to feasibility reviews.
* Analyzing existing processes and evaluating potential improvements.
* Creation and amendment of process control sheets.
* Any other reasonable duties as assigned in order to meet the needs of the business.
Key Requirements:
* Degree qualified in an engineering discipline (Mechanical preferable) Ideal for a Graduate level engineer.
* CAD skills (Solid works, Fusion360 or similar).
* Good knowledge of new products in development and their tooling and machining requirements.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to make considered decisions and to communicate them effectively.
* PC literate - Microsoft word, excel etc.
* Willingness to take on new tasks and as and when required.
The Package:
* £26,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience level.
