Payroll Associate

I am currently working with an established Practice in Belfast City Centre who are seeking a Payroll Associate to join their expanding Payroll Bureau team.
This role sits within a vital team which operates across multiple locations, offering a range of Payroll services to businesses. As a Bacs-approved bureau, my client enables their clients to outsource their payroll functions confidently.
Day to Day of the role:
* Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payroll for a diverse client base
* Managing Bacs payment systems and payroll projections
* Handling pension administration and providing consultancy services
* Ensuring accuracy and compliance with current payroll legislation
* Solving problems and planning effectively to meet payroll deadlines
* Communicating clearly and concisely with clients and team members
* Providing excellent customer service and maintaining high client satisfaction
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll processing within a computerised environment
* Good working knowledge of practical payroll matters, including current legislation
* High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Strong problem-solving and planning skills
* Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent customer service skills
* Competence in Microsoft Office packages, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Previous experience in an accountancy practice or payroll bureau is desirable
* CIPP payroll qualification or equivalent is also desirable
