Job title:             Graduate Electrical Design Engineer
Salary Range:    £27,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hours:                 Day Shifts Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Location:            Telford, Shropshire
Permanent role working for a leading manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire.
Due to expansion a leading manufacturing business in Telford is looking for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join them on a long-term basis.
The hiring manager is preferably looking for someone who has recently graduated and completed a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or someone that has done some electrical engineering work in a limited capacity and would like to develop their skills and experience further.
The hiring manager is looking for someone who has knowledge of Electrical Design and Engineering techniques, as well as some experience with CAD (preferably Autodesk Inventor).
This client based in Telford requires a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.
As a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer, you will be required to:
* Identify customer requirements
* Read design specifications and technical drawings
* Research suitable solutions and estimate costs and time scales
* Work to standards, including British (BS) and European (EN)
* Liaise with others in the design team
* Communicate with clients and contractors
* Attend meetings on site
* Design and conduct tests
* Qualify the final product or system
* Prepare product documentation, write reports and give presentations
The Graduate Electrical Design Engineer should have the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
Essential:
* A certificate/qualification in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or previous Electrical Design/Engineering experience
* Previous experience with CAD
* Competent with Microsoft Office packages
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently Graduated from University, or someone who has some Electrical Design Engineering experience to work for a well-established manufacturing business in Telford.
In return for your experience, this business will offer you:
* Full time permanent contract
* Contracted 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
* Annual salary up to £30,000 per annum (DOE)
