Job Description:
An Accounts Payable Officer is required for a temporary role in a Housing Association. The position will be to support with a backlog in a supportive and positive team!
Client Details
This organisation is a well-established housing association based in central London.
Description
* Processing and recording of accounts payable transactions.
* Maintaining supplier files and responding to vendor inquiries.
* Performing reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers.
* Working closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy of financial data.
* Supporting in the development of financial policies and procedures.
* Maintaining strict confidentiality of financial information.
* Performing other related duties as assigned.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Officer should have:
* A degree in Accounting or a related field.
* Proficiency in OPEN ACCOUNTS and Microsoft Office.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
* Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
