Description
* Manage the Accounts Payable team to ensure all financial transactions are executed accurately and in a timely manner
* Oversee credit control and manage collections
* Implement and maintain internal control systems and procedures
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Collaborate with other finance team members to support overall department goals and objectives
* Liaise with external auditors and manage internal audits
* Develop and implement improvements to processes and policies
* Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
Profile
A successful AP Manager should have:
* A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Proficiency in accounting software
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Offer
* An annual salary of £36,000 - £40,000
* Generous pension scheme with employer contribution of 19%
* Hybrid working
* 6-month contract
