Reed Scientific are currently working with a Lancashire based chemical company close to Blackburn who have an immediate vacancy for an analytical chemist with specific skills performing GC-MS analysis and then interpreting the results.
Duties of the role will include:
* Assist with the smooth running of the analytical department
* Prepare samples
* Carry out routine GC-MS analysis
* Analysis and interpretation of data/results
* Present results both internally and externally
Skills/Experience required:
* Chemistry related degree
* Laboratory experience – industry
* Analytical chemistry experience – gas chromatography and mass spectrometry
* Good laboratory skills
* Data analysis and interpretation
