Job Description:
Our client is a young and progressive provider of BMS, electrical installations, and heating services across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, retail and residential. They are dedicated to delivering innovative, high-quality solutions that enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of their clients’ facilities.
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled and motivated BMS Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Building Management Systems. This role requires a strong technical background in BMS, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

BMS Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop Building Management Systems to meet client specifications and project requirements.
* Install, program, and commission BMS hardware and software components.
* Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the appropriate BMS solutions.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BMS installations and operations.
* Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance of BMS systems.
* Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
* Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users.
* Prepare and maintain documentation, including system designs, project plans, and user manuals.
* Stay current with industry trends, standards, and advancements in BMS technology.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
BMS Engineer
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in designing, installing, and commissioning Building Management Systems.
* Strong knowledge of BMS hardware, software, and networking protocols.
* Proficiency in BMS programming languages and tools.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience with HVAC systems and controls is a plus.
* Knowledge of Tridium, Cylon, Distech, Trend or AutoCAD, would be beneficial
