Role - Practice Manager
Financials - Up To £55,000
Location - Preston
Our client, who specialises in various legal disciplines, is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join their team and the board. This position has become available as the current manager is relocating. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and be capable of handling multiple responsibilities effectively. The ability to adapt to various roles within the organisation is crucial for success in this role.
Upon starting your new role, you will receive a one-time payment of £1000 within 14 days of your employment commencement.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Directors by organising and managing company operations in accordance with SRA Rules and Regulations.
* Maintain risk management, audit, and monitoring functions to identify and address areas of poor practice.
* Monitor and review the company’s strategic plan and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Arrange necessary insurances and ensure regulatory compliance is met.
* Foster a culture of quality, client care, risk management, and innovation within the organisation.
* Oversight and participation in monthly board meetings, encompassing the preparation of agendas, documentation, and meeting minutes.
* Management of the meeting agenda and diligent follow-up on action items identified during deliberations.
* Collaboration with the Finance Manager to guarantee the punctual provision of monthly management accounts.
* Compilation of a monthly financial overview for Board meetings, comprising budget analyses and detection of any irregularities .
Key Experiences
* Demonstrate proficiency in HR coordination, policies, procedures, appraisals, and staff welfare within a legal setting.
* Possess the ability to oversee a Finance Manager and effectively manage all associated responsibilities.
* Exhibit a thorough understanding of regulatory compliance requirements for a proactive legal practice.
Essential Qualities
* You must hold CIPD qualification.
* A minimum of 3 years legal management experience.
The successful candidate for the specified position shall be entitled to receive a one-time payment of £1000 as a signing bonus, funded solely by NPA Recruit LTD. This payment shall be disbursed to the candidate within 14 days from the date of their commencement of new employment, subject to the agreed upon terms and conditions.
