One of our public sector clients is looking for an AWS Platform Engineer to join their IT department on a contract basis.
You will have the following experience and knowledge:
* Designing and building platforms in AWS.
* AWS Serverless technologies.
* CI/CD methodology and native AWS CI/CD tooling.
* Automated testing within AWS
* Agile delivery models - such as Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks
* AWS Shield Advanced, WAFv2, AWS Firewall Manager
* AWS Lambda, CDK, S3, Cloud Formation, API Gateway, EC2, AMIs
* GuardDuty, Transit Gateway, AWS Config, Route53, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Codepipeline, CodeArtifact,
* Containerised platforms, Openshift, Kubernetes, ECS, Fargate.
* Python, Bash, Ansible, Groovy
* Git, Artifactory, ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, Jenkins, Kibana, Grafana
* AWSLinux, RHel, Ubuntu,
* Experience with AWS Security and Networks.
* Experience using Prisma Cloud
Our client operates a mostly remote working model. However, you may be required on-site in Edinburgh or Glasgow for the occasional meeting. As such, you must be willing to travel to Scotland when required.
6-month contract with possible extension, competitive day rate (outside ir35).
