This is a temporary assignment, based in East LondonQuality Assurance Administrator This is to start ASAP and will be ongoing for approx 2 months and possibly longer

The School of Business and Management at a prestigious London university is seeking a Quality Assurance Administrator to join the Professional Services Team. This role is vital for maintaining the School’s commitment to excellence in business education design and delivery. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate processes related to academic misconduct cases and examination paper production, ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Day to Day of the role: * Evaluate and support curriculum management processes and assessment of learning.
* Assist in the development of new or amended module specifications, ensuring documentation is accurate and approvals are in place.
* Facilitate the moderation and scrutiny of examination papers and marking guidelines.
* Allocate modules to external examiners and maintain records of appointments.
* Manage the distribution of exams timetables and coordinate marking and moderation support.
* Provide expert knowledge to students on assessment deadlines and procedures.
* Administer plagiarism reports and related assessment offence cases, updating student records accordingly.
* Support the Subject Examination Board with preparation and organisation of meetings.
* Participate in School and university events such as Open Days and UCAS activities.
* Act as committee secretary for the School’s Teaching and Learning Committees.
* Represent the School on various committees and working groups.
* Share best practices and knowledge to foster a culture of educational excellence.
* Ensure compliance with university policies regarding data security and privacy.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Experience in quality assurance within an educational setting.
* Familiarity with curriculum management and assessment processes.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in using university systems and data management tools.
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
