The role of the Estimator - Aluminium Glazing Systems will involve:
*Estimator position producing estimates for a high end manufactured range of aluminium glazing systems such as: curtain walling, windows, doors, rooflights, fire rated glazing & structural glazing
*Review tender documents and produce high quality tender returns
*Utilise specialist estimating software to determine material costs
*Negotiate prices with supply chain and gather quotations for projects
*Liaise and build relationships with main contractor throughout the project and beyond
*Ensure that the internal CRM system is regularly updated
*Preparing handover documents for the contracts department, once a project has been secured
*Estimating for projects ranging in value from up to circa £8m
*Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Aluminium Glazing Systems experience with:
*Must have estimating experience within the aluminium market sector
*Must have experience using LogiKal
*Strong background dealing with architectural glazing, curtain walling, fire rated glazing & structural glazing
*Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
*Must be IT literate (Microsoft Office)
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
*Excellent analytical and numerical skills
*Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
