Café Assistant  

Location: Moredon Sports Hub
Shift:  16 hours a week  @ 16 hrs per week 9am – 3pm, Mon - Sun
Pay:     
* 16–17 year old  £6.80 
* 18–20 year-old  £8.90
* Over 21 £11.80    
Reports To: Cafe Manager
This role is perfect for students, part-time hours and flexible days. 
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet customers and take orders efficiently.
* Serve food and beverages according to the menu.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately (training given)
* Assist cook in opening and closing the cafe.
* Provide excellent customer service and handle any customer inquiries or complaints professionally.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* Positive attitude and a team player.
