My client a leading international container shipping company is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for their friendly and welcoming Accountancy team based in Central London.
The job:
* Daily Fund/Cash Flow Management: Oversee daily fund and cash flow activities, including TT payment input and exchange rate maintenance.
* Reporting: Prepare daily cash reports, monthly bank reconciliations, and various financial reports (e.g., cash flow estimates, budget comparisons).
* Credit Management: Set up and maintain credit accounts, conduct bi-annual reviews, and manage credit notes and offsets)
* Foreign Currency: Handle foreign currency trading, monthly valuations, and interest revenue/expense reports.
* Customer Interaction: Address general queries, process refund requests, and manage payment allocations
You will need:
* Fluent Mandarin speaker
* Good communication
* Capable of prioritising work
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* To be honest, responsible and punctual, to be able to work on your own initiative as well as to be a great team worker
