Job Description:
Our client is a successful and long-established business with a fabulous reputation and offering a great working environment as part of a small dedicated finance team. An opportunity has arisen to hire a new Finance Administrator with some accounts payable experience to be responsible for:
* Maintaining the Petty Cash account.
* Inputting income to Access Financials accounting system.
* Setting up and processing incoming direct debit receipts and following up cancellations and non-payment.
* Setting up payments and administering income as requested by Finance Manager
* Processing supplier invoices on Access Financials.
* Compiling and entering BACS payments to suppliers.
* Supplier statement reconciliation.
* Reconciling Purchase Ledger Direct Debit payments - monthly.
* Staff BACS expenses payments.
There is flexibility around hours and days worked, and occasional work from home is possible, but please be aware this role requires office presence for the majority of the time. Benefits including good pension, free lunch, exercise classes and support if you’d like to study towards AAT qualifications are offered.
The successful applicant will be local to Kingston, have strong numeracy and organisational skills, be confident communicating with customers and suppliers and will have some finance admin experience.
