AJ Chambers are representing a Top Law Firm who are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their growing Manchester office.
The successful candidate will be working directly with a partner and other qualified and unqualified staff. You must have technical knowledge commensurate to the level of experience as well as a pro-active approach to risk management, a willingness to learn, and a good knowledge of property transactions.
Client care is a priority, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate when they have gone over and above to provide a top-quality service to the client. You will be keen to progress and grow within the department. Relevant professional training will be provided and career development opportunities available to the right candidate.
Essential Experience:
* Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules
* Experience of dealing with County Court claims
* Debt recovery;
* Liaising with a briefing Counsel
Preferable Experience:
* Mortgagee possession claims.
* Landlord and tenant work.
* Experience in high court and tribunal proceedings.
* Exposure to general litigation.
Essential Skills:
* Educated to degree level.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
* IT literate.
* Be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and to progress.
Desirable Skills:
* LPC would be an advantage but not essential.
