Job Description:

Location: Reading 

This Assistant Manager role will report into their Senior Manager in the Media Team with some direct report management.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Working with your manager in ensuring the financial outsourcing for a portfolio of clients is completed in a timely manner, ensuring all monthly, quarterly and year end deliverables are met including VAT returns, Net Asset Valuation of Investment Funds, Management accounts and Statutory accounts.
* Liaising with and presenting financial information directly to the client(s) on a regular basis.
* Learning to lead and develop a team, including managing performance, setting goals and ongoing training through mentoring and following our tailored leadership program.
* Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.

To be successful in this Assistant Manager role If you can demonstrate the following skills and experience, we can help you grow and develop:

* Newly qualified accountant, ideally 3 years’ experience in a similar sized firm.
* Good knowledge of accounting fundamentals including production of statutory accounts under FRS 102 and IFRS, consolidations, inter-company transactions and impairments.
* Strong Word and Excel skills.
* Experience of using Xero and CCH is nice to have.
* An excellent planner/organiser with good decision-making skills and happy to help.
