Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives in their Fettling department to assist in the manufacturing, finishing and testing of their products. Full training will be given, so you do not need to have worked in this field before.
Main Duties
* Removing excess material from parts using compressed air driven hand tools
* Quality checking products
* Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
* Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy
Requirements
* Experience in a manufacturing warehouse/production environment
* Good degree of manual dexterity, experience using hand tools
* You must be physically fit as the role will involve periods of standing and some manual lifting.
* Safety boots will be required, all other PPE provided
Hours
40 hours a week. Monday-Thursday 07.30-16.30 and Friday 07.30-13.30
