Export Sales Executive, Corby
£28,000 - £35,000 per annum
Background:
Our client is a leading manufacturer. Selling globally, with a strong presence in the USA, Western Europe and the UK, with 80% of sales outside the UK.
Job Purpose:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Sales & Export Executive to join our Operations team.
Principal Accountabilities:
* Liaising with Dealers in Western Europe, Australia, Japan, New Zealand and the UK
* Sales Order Processing utilising MS Office & ERP systems
* Responding to customer enquiries/queries via email/phone and live chat
* Liaising with Dealers/Distribution market - Relationship building
* Managing customer expectations and aftersales support
* Obtaining freight quotes, booking freight and tracking customer orders through to final delivery whilst working with freight forwarders
* Liaising with production concerning orders
* Spare parts order processing
* Answering incoming calls
* Data entry (ERP)
* Taking payments
* Various adhoc administrative duties
* Support with social media marketing
Person Specification
The idea candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in both Sales Order Processing and Export of goods from the UK
An organised approach to work, strong attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks in a time efficient manner.
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills
* Order processing experience essential
* Freight forwarding experience & current UK export control regulations across road, air, and sea desirable
* Customs & Excise knowledge essential - Export Sales
* Knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations and government agency requirements are required
* Good working knowledge of MS Office and good understanding of ERP systems whilst having the ability to pick up technology quickly.
* Able to work to tight deadlines
* Self-Starter, confident and a good team player, excellent communication skills, relationship builder.
* Excellent negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail.
The position will report directly to the Operations Director.
Permanent position: you will be required to work Monday to Friday from the Corby Site
Salary - £28,000 - £35,000 per annum
Hours of work -Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 / Friday 08:00 - 16:00 (1hr lunch each day)
25 days Annual Leave + 8 Bank Holidays / Christmas bonus / Pension / Death in Service
